Working with a Celebrant
The wedding organiser may suggest a celebrant or you may know of one that you wish to work with. the choice is yours and yours alone.
A celebrant will meet with you for an informal discussion about your wedding.
There will be a discussion on the type of music to be used during the wedding and any prayers, hymns, or poems. The celebrant may offer some ideas if requested.
The celebrant, working with you will draft a copy of the service together with your vows. Working together we will make the service perfect for your wedding that includes your love story, your passions and your life ahead.
The celebrant will arrive at the wedding location about 60 minutes before the service.

The law requires you to be legally married before or after your wedding ceremony, which can happen at a register office with just two people and some witnesses. You don’t need any special clothes for this type of celebration!
