More and more people are choosing to write their funeral service while they’re still alive, and there’s something deeply empowering about that. You don’t have to be ill. In fact, many of my clients are fit and well, but want peace of mind that their ceremony will feel just right.
Together, we’ll talk through your life story, your values, the music you love, what you’d like to say, and what you wouldn’t. I’ll write a bespoke service that feels like you, ready to be delivered when the time comes. You can review, change, or update it; it’s yours.

Whether you’d like me to deliver your pre-written funeral service or you want to empower a friend or family member to do it, you’re in the right place. As an experienced funeral celebrant in Oxfordshire, I can either lead the ceremony myself or coach your chosen speaker.
Coaching includes help with delivery, pacing, writing a eulogy, and emotional readiness. I know what it takes to stand up and speak at such a tender moment, and I’m here to guide with kindness and care.

Life Story Legacy Book
Life Story – Memory Book Writing
This isn’t a biography, it’s something far more intimate. A memory book is a beautifully crafted keepsake that captures your most treasured stories, photos, and moments. Whether it includes your full funeral script or simply memories you want your family to hold on to, this is your chance to leave a legacy in your own words.
We’ll work together to shape the stories you want to be remembered for. The final book is printed and is something precious to pass on, to hold, to keep.

Planning your funeral might sound unusual. But many people now choose to take control of their farewell, and what a gift that is to leave behind. At Forget Me Not Celebrant, I help you create a funeral service that truly reflects your life, values and wishes. Whether you’re planning in good health, facing a diagnosis, or supporting a loved one, I’m here to make the process is personal, supportive and meaningful.
No jargon, no pressure, just real conversations that lead to a beautiful, bespoke service tailored to you with our funeral planning celebrant.
What we can do?
The funeral director may suggest a celebrant or you may know of one that you wish to work with.
The celebrant will meet with the family for an informal discussion about the deceased, noting fond memories and any anecdotes.
There will be a discussion on the type of music to be used during the funeral and any prayers, hymns, or poems. The celebrant may offer some ideas if requested.
The celebrant will write a first draft of the eulogy. Then working with the family will create a final draft, that will be used during the service.
The celebrant will arrive at the crematorium about 30 minutes before the service.
Payment for the celebrant is normally part of the funeral package.

Mum’s Wardrobe After Her Death
When the house sold the last thing I had to go through were all her clothes and nick knacks from over the years.
